I have a lot of life stuff going on right now which means there is also a lot of blog stuff going on. So I thought I would give you guys a little update on everything.
College: So by the time you read this post I will be back at college (I’m writing this a few days early). I’m actually really excited about going back to this course which feels a little weird, I’ve said this many times but I had to drop out of this course two years ago due to health reasons and I’m finally going back.
But the weird thing is that all I remember is being so stressed out and anxious over this course (which I now know was a bad thing) and I don’t feel like that anymore, but I feel like I should be stressed but I’m not, I mean there is a little bit of anxiety but it’s not the huge cloud of dread that it was.
CFS: I hesitate to say this because I don’t want to jinx myself but it hasn’t been as bad as I expected. I was worried that with all the college and book festival stuff going on that it might flare up and it hasn’t. I mean there was that moment while walking down Princess Street where the world started spinning around me, but apart from that it has been okay.
Schedule: I’ve never officially announced a blog schedule but for the last four months I have posted four times a week. Now that I’m going back to college I thought that doing a full time course and blogging four times a week might be a little too much (and I don’t want the CFS to throw a wobbly!). So I’ve decided to drop my Wednesday post and move the Thursday post to Friday.
You guys have no idea how much it pained me to do this, I have so many posts I want to write, but college must come first and I would rather have posts scheduled out three months in advance than try to do too much and make the CFS angry. You know, sometimes when I think about it, it’s almost like I’m Bruce Banner and the CFS is the Hulk. That was a bad analogy…..
London: I am going to London in October. To be more specific I am going to GollanczFest at the Waterstones in Piccadilly. It sounds like its going to be so much fun, there is going to be a bunch of sci-fi/ fantasy authors including Brandon Sanderson (I really need to start reading Mistborn) and Ian McDonald (I’m not obsessed with that guy I just really like his book). If there are any book nerds in London you should totally come as well because the tickets are super cheap. Obviously since I’m in London I will also be going book shopping so if you know of any good book shops please leave them in the comments.
