How To Be A Wildflower is the sort of book you don’t buy to read (at least that’s what I feel about it). The author – Katie Daisy – is an artist and illustrator, possibly best known over on Instagram for her paintings which mix typography with beautiful illustrations.

There is a “point” to this book. According to the blurb it is a “collection of things to do and make, quotes, meditations, natural history and more”.

I should probably say that this isn’t a proper review, it’s more of a look how f**king pretty this book is. I literally just bought it for inspiration because if I could paint even half as good as Katie Daisy can I will die happy.

I’m sure you could get something out of reading this book but you really don’t have to, just buy it for the art. You won’t be disappointed.

Thanks for reading.

I didn’t realize that about this book. I haven’t read it yet but I am a sucker for good art in a book, especially if the author has a hand in it. I’ll have to check it out.

Hmmm, the photo with the “full moon hike” has given me a great idea, since my wife and I love hiking. Thank you!
